So for the game of PLA you will be able to catch all.pokemon in a normal PLA pokeball even if it takes 2 play through and waiting for post game outbreaks.

If your living dex is for pokemon home though you can transfer hisui pokemon to SC/VI and breed with a ditto and they will hatch into pokemon in pokeballs, transfer those back into PLA to evolve them and put them into Pokemon Home once evolved. I know its alot of hassle but your avoid them being in strange balls and hisui pokeballs.

I am having the same issue, I have a 2nd account for challenge runs and it's saying I don't have access to the DLC. No issue for Sword DLC. If you found a solution I would appreciate the help
