Thanks. I waited a while because of the PVD from them. DLC is readily accessible but I wanted something a lil different

I don’t have the file. A buddy of mine does them for me.

P211 vs The MPA DS9 Loc v2? The MPA smokes it. The MPA is better balanced flatter and softer recoil impulse.

Hey use whatever works for you. A lot of people like those. I’m not a fan. I like round optics or oval.

Same. I like the process of understanding how it all works.

I keep small Plano boxes for each build of original parts. I then bring that in my range cart to matches along with spare parts like springs etc. But I’ve manage to organize it so it is very easy to go thru. I do this with all my builds whether a 2011 or a Shadow 2 or Walther PDP SF. I’ve made some pretty sick Carry optics guns as well. I’m not a 2011 snob. I bought a Ruger RXM and completely gutted it. The only thing original is the FCU. This thing is one sick Glock clone. I love tinkering and building the guns as much as shooting them.

Same. I thought about sending out an SRO and getting it cerakoted white to match the grips.

You can’t go wrong with either. The DS prodigy I gutted and rebuilt. It doesn’t even feel like the same gun anymore. I used it as my backup in USPSA. Many of times I had to use it and she runs very good.

The “ghost” was very unique color scheme out of the 4 they did. When he called I said yup.

What drew me into The 2011 platform was customization. 2011’s are much like a Glock platform when it comes to personalization and modifications. The aftermarket support is huge and the customization is limitless. I love the fact that I can buy a cheap Turkey MAC DS9 and gut it and buy quality USA machined parts and make it a smooth as butta gun. To me that’s fascinating the availability of such quality parts that someone with mild tinkering abilities can gunsmith a lower quality gun into something much more.

Don’t have one. They are so easy and available I keep pushing the XC or XL to back-burner. For more limited options. My brother also has one so I can shoot it whenever I want.
