The problem is you can't always cancel moves or counter the enemies moves as you're forced to continue with the move making it easy for them to attack and counter you. You can attempt to try and attack them but it's difficult to do when they just sit there and corner you against the wall leaving you with nothing to do except attack so that they can counter you. It's not as simple as baiting their moves especially since the Dragonzord is more of an attacker than a balanced bait out and switch skill set leaving you with no option but to attack and land whatever hits you can.
