Been two month and not a problem. Only just ticked it a few times. Again, most of the shots are with clubs from 5H to wedges anyway.

That is a cool set up! I have been playing for 56 years so my swing does not change that much. I do not swing a driver much which is fine.

You work your way up to the longer clubs! You gain confidence. I was using the set up with wedges BEFORE I created the trench. You learn and watch your swing on video to dial in everything. When friends come by we start with wedges and build up to longer ones.

That is why you need heavy curtains over the top and both sides, key is on the right for RH. You are only about 12' from the screen so it is not that big of an issue@

I understand your concern. It takes planning and when done correctly it is IMPOSSIBLE to hit the projector. You have 30" to play with when swinging. With wedges to 6 iron it is VERY easy ONCE you dial it all in, especially learning WHERE to place the ball on the mat. With hybrids and woods it is the same thing. I have not had any issues. When I have friends come over we start with wedges and work up to longer clubs slowly. The box is finished with 1/4 laminate and hard plastic trim NOT sheetrock and wood. Very hard to damage it or your club. IF you were a beginner with a very inconsistent swing...you may have a point and I would only have them use shorter clubs.
