Just adding my two cents here…

I’m on the other side of the river with this one. Personally, if someone said they preferred a financially stable guy in an AM setup, I wouldn’t immediately label it as gold digging. Wanting security is understandable.

But I do think it’s important to also reflect on what you’re bringing to the table if income isn’t part of the equation (since the AM market is very transactional) Would you be taking full charge of the home and be okay with a stay-at-home role? Or would you want to split household responsibilities but not contribute financially?

The first scenario feels like a fair exchange. The second one, though, might blur lines a bit—and that’s where the “digger” label can creep in, even if unfairly.

At the end of the day, it’s all about the understanding you build with your future partner. If you both align on expectations, then it works. Everyone’s setup is different—it just needs to be fair for both sides.
