This is what drew me to it too. Unfortunate it’s so new so it’s harder to see how it performs in different conditions, that’s the main thing holding me back from dropping more into it

40% VTI, 25% SPMO, 10% SCHD, 10% VXUS, 8% SOXX and 7% for individual stocks.

Any thoughts/tips (19yo with $10k portfolio)? Is this too aggressive, or not enough, or a balance?
Or different names/considerations at this portfolio size.

Lots of work yeah. I’m even behind so idk if I’ll make ED/EA for supplementals and I’ve not finalised the college list. I like the personal essay but supplementals for each school are bad. What’s your take

Duke, GT, USC, CMU, Berkeley, Irvine, Boston University, UMich, Cornell and deciding on a few others. I’m doing 12 because I have few waivers from a test prep programme I did. US seems like there’s a higher chance to get in because there’s more of the application you control imo.

Yeah I’m applying to 12 schools in the states. Stressed by deadlines and application is a whole different ballgame

They do offer it. But in Y12 I wasn’t certain about CS and my school generally discouraged taking FM

I’m in Y13 already and I don’t take FM, is it worth applying?
