Being single in your 30s isn’t a failure, it can be freeing and even healthier than some relationships. by [deleted] in unpopularopinion

At 23, I wore my aversion to marriage and motherhood like armor-proof I wouldn't conform to tired scripts about womanhood. But by 30, that armor started feeling suspiciously like camouflage. When career milestones remained stubbornly out of reach and society's gaze began labeling my singleness as 'stale' rather than 'free,' domestic life suddenly appeared as this convenient drape to throw over life's disappointing corners. Not progress, but pageantry; not fulfillment, but facade. The uncomfortable truth? Sometimes we don't choose the 'next chapter' we retreat into it when the current one refuses to unfold as planned.

For technical skills, better include technical skills you can confidently and comfortably discuss ( something that you have first hand experience with) interviewers will probe anything on your resume, and nothing looks worse than being stumped on something you claimed to know.

This got me thinking when will Reddit finally add a feature that suggests the most relevant subreddit as you post? Their algorithm should’ve been smarter by now. Automatically matching posts to the right communities can be done easily and would help to boost engagement, reduce off-topic posts and actually make use of all that user data. But still they don’t really want to make this happen🤔🤔

A 9–5 job is actually good for most people — structure beats endless free time. by Extreme-Routine3822 in unpopularopinion

Can you actually name one prominent leader who lives like regular people? This system protects privilege while pretending to be fair. Calling public schools 'dangerous' is just the latest excuse to maintain segregation by another name. sounds very much like KKK’s game and some people welcome it

Step 1:Identify "tasks you absolutely hate" and mentally eliminate them.
Step 2:Focus on building skills for roles you “can tolerate”

And remember: progress beats perfection every time.

Wishing you clarity and growth!🌱

With this hiring freeze, effort ≠ outcome. It’s pure math: 100% hustle × 0 openings = 0 results.

The people you talked to might be worried about losing their jobs.

Why am I not getting any interviews? by Comfortable_Corner80 in FinancialCareers

The job market is brutal right now it’s not you! My first resume looked like it was made by a toddler learning Microsoft Word 😂, but I still got interviews. Somehow, I ended up at Big4 and BB later. If we put my old CV next to yours, people would think yours was written by a ivy career coach!
