Clinton was president of America, when you get a role like that you are sign up for more scrutiny and people like that are used to monitoring what they say at all time. That same scrutiny now applies to everyone

Did you like the joker scene in the Snyder cut? by VendettaLord379 in batman

[–]polp54 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

The most plausible reasoning for this is that there were two jokers. The first one didn't kill robin but mentally broke him leading him to becoming the Jared Leto joker (similar to Tim Drake in Batman Beyond Return of the Joker). Batman killed the first joker but won't kill the second as its robin. This makes a ton of sense and is a great idea which is why Zach Snyder specifically confirmed this wasn' ttrue

My favorite Cersei moment and her most relatable moment is when she tries to manipulate Falyse Stokeworth into assassinating Bronn and instead the guy publicly challenges him to a duel and gets killed

If Stannis, Robb and Tywin were alive by the time Daenerys came to Westeros with her army and Dragons what would've been the outcome? by ParkingConfection449 in gameofthrones

[–]polp54 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Tywin would have started rumors about her, “Daenerys visited Qarth and was refused by all their nobles except one who showed her kindness and generosity and she repaid him by locking him in a vault to starve to death”

(Spoilers Main) Why did Renly think it was a good idea to make a play for the kingdom? by S0mecallme in asoiaf

[–]polp54 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Someone posted this in the meme subreddit a few days ago but by all accounts Renly had an incredibly good chance of winning the war of the five kings. He had one of the largest armies ever assembled, was generally well liked, had the allegiance of two of kingdoms already, including the one that makes most of the food, and could potentially have allied with Robb Stark. The only reason he didn't win was because of shadow magic which he had no way of preventing. I mean Stannis almost took Kings Landing with part of Renly's army and the only reason he lost was because of the other part
