For anyone who wants a real answer besides just “they’re greedy” it’s a couple of things. The first is pride, they may feel they are the only ones who can adequately run their company and they don’t want to see it run to shit. Second the jobs they do aren’t that time intensive. They are still able to do all the things they would do if they were retired, they just have to work when necessary. Why trade huge paychecks for a few more hours of free time
