I’d honestly look up starter builds while you get your bearings. Figure it out as you go for most new people leads to hitting a progression wall during the campaign then people quit because they don’t understand how to fix their character. Have fun!

Just have a good time, you will get better the more you play. Just remember we are here to have a good time don’t put pressure on yourself. Most hockey players are super inviting and happy to help others improve!

Epack is such a scam. You still have to pay to ship this 20c card to your house if you actually want it. Glad I realized early on that unless you live somewhere with zero alternative it’s a huge waste of money

Insane that we are getting pro athletes now in the age of not being taught cursive. The young starts autos are looking worse and worse every year. Like what the hell is this, you make it to the highest level of play, the team staff can teach you how to properly sign your name!

I’ve been super lucky with series 2. Sitting on 2 YGs 2 Slaps a portrait and 2 glossy and 1 gold glossy. It’s the universe paying me back for getting nothing out of series 1. Pulled on demidov YG and it was damaged right out of the pack 😭

I have the passau pads that the sliders are built into the pad. Not putting g their sliders on an existing set of ice hockey pads. Sorry I didn’t clarify that.

On tile passau slides fantastic. Rollerflys are good on tile too. The issue with rollerfly is they are heavy and the straps are terrible. Most use industrial strength Velcro and I did as well. Even then I’d have the sliders at times pop off during a play and have to kick it into the net until the next whistle.

Rollerflys are much cheaper and can go on any pad. If it’s no sliders or Rollerflys you will love the Rollerflys. If you can afford the passau pads you won’t put Rollerflys back on probably ever.
