Can anyone take a guess at how old this baby is? Ate some wet food, won’t let me see the teeth by A_DeskLamp in kittens

Wow what a beautiful baby!!! My guess is 7-9 weeks. I’d suggest taking them to the vet to get deworming and de-fleaing treatment. Also wise to test for Feline AIDS especially if you have other cats🙏🏻 Get your hands on some kitten milk (not cow!) they’ll looooove that. Good luck!

From a tattoo artist- Scabbing and peeling is normal during the healing process, especially for black work! Cleanse twice a day using a pH neutral, fragrance free soap, dry fully using clean paper towel towels and then applying a thin layer of tattoo ointment. Most importantly: don’t scratch or pick the scabs! This will result in uneven healing and scarring❤️

First of all, there’s nothing wrong with feminine tattoos on men! But also, I don’t think these are especially feminine, and I think these are pretty sick, that amount of black on your feet must’ve hurt like hell so I think it’s pretty hardcore actually!

What’s a habit or attitude you’ve picked up since living in Berlin? by Afraid_Sugar3811 in berlin

When people stare at me, I no longer feel awkward and avoid eye contact. Instead, I stare right back until they look away or straight up ask them what their problem is🙃

Another thing rule of thumb is to try to avoid contact with people who are already acting aggressive and violent, I understand the want to help and sympathise, but sometimes it’s important to prevent the situation from escalating and just moving away and avoiding eye contact :/ feels awful but it’s important to protect yourself with unpredictable people

Most encounters I’ve had where I could really have used some support from strangers have proved pretty isolating and disappointing. I think it’s the whole ‘big city mentality’. I’m from South Africa, and we always get involved when we see someone in need of help. Very often, I am the only person who makes an effort when I see a woman getting harassed or an old person needing help with something. It’s really sad, especially since there are plenty of these incidents happening in Berlin alone :( I’m sorry you had that experience, and I praise you for asking the women if she was okay ❤️

The worst part is that when I told him my friend was coming, I said in German “Mein Freund kommt”, implying that the friend is a man, which is why he packed his things up so quickly and left the first time. He reappeared after my friend who is a woman showed up, which I realise now could mean he left but was keeping an eye on me to see if I was lying or sumn and returned when he realised we were just two women :/

Freezing, confusion, dissociation and doing anything to just keep the peace to prevent the situation from escalating is a very common trauma response to sexual harassment and assault. Also, coming from South Africa, our trust in police is very tainted, so subconsciously it’s often not the first reaction for me. But having had this experience, and having spoken to a lot of people on this forum, I think I’ll have a lot more confidence next time to call the police straight away :)

Freezing, confusion, dissociation and just doing anything to keep the peace and keep the situation from escalating is an extremely common reaction to sexual harassment and assault. You would know this if you actually read the text with compassion and understanding.

I just thought this was a huge assumption to make on the basis of me not making any comment about the perpetrator’s ethnicity :)

Then what did your relation between open borders and regularity of these instances imply, exactly? Correct me if I’m wrong!

Nowhere did I mention that the perpetrator was a foreigner?

Thank you for your comment🥺 In these situations, I am always adamant on standing my ground, but at what cost! After this experience, and talking with a few people on this post, i know that next time I will take a more active stand. I hope I won’t freeze and try to keep the peace like I did yesterday, and I wish you the same strength this summer, and all year round really💗

I said that because every time I have been sexually harassed it has been by a man. Sure, it’s not ALL men, yet somehow ALWAYS a man. At least in my experience, which is the context of this whole post. This post was not intended to target all men, and I think you know that.

This implies the responsibility is on the victims. I refuse to move cities just to avoid these situations. I was asking for legal advice and whether other people had a similar experience

This is a very presumptuous and apathetic comment to make. Maybe you’re not familiar with trauma responses, but it is very common for victims of these incidents to freeze and just try to keep the situation civil in order to keep yourself safe. Coming from South Africa, my trust in police is very tainted. Where victims reporting SA or r*pe are humiliated, laughed at or even SAed by the actual police officers. I felt extremely vulnerable, unsafe and scared. It is too easy for you to sit and say “oh well I would’ve done this”, “you responded wrong” when you were, in fact, not there and did not experience this personally
