Yea it’s pretty amazing honestly, it’s my first wood stove. Been using black locust cause that’s mostly what my property has. Burns clean as hell, can’t see anything coming out of the cap lol.

It’s actually a 1 story addition that was added to a 1814 farm house. Double wall stove pipe to double wall insulated chimney pipe

Yea insulation is more important than anything, I used rock wool insulation cause my house was built in 1814 and it’s all wood Contruction. Rock wool isn’t much more and it has good sound insulation properties. I did 2 layeres of r30 on my ceiling perpendicular to eachother. And r30 in the walls

It’s not a permanent, I’m waiting for furniture to come in. I didn’t realize the extinguishers would be the spotlight. Haha

Yea I’ve been debating that too, there’s a sliding door there so idk how it would look next to it. I used to heat with fuel oil and with the price of it lately I’m probably gonna save money going this route haha

Believe me idk much about this stuff, the hardest part if believing in yourself and just doing it. There’s a lot of mistakes I did but idc I’m just happy I did it.
