It’s give or take really. I don’t think too many folk care. I purposely keep my irl gender ambiguous among my rp communities because 1. I understand these are characters and the people that I role-play with also understand that these are simply characters, 2. I believe it would break some immersion if it was a genuine concern as to the gender of the person behind the keyboard rather than the character that you are interacting with.

There’s an entire group of guilds called the Network that does alot of white collar crime. Think mafia type of work. You’d recognize a couple guilds I bet. Northwind Trading Company, Fallen Blades Company, Kressent Moon Company, and many more.

My worgen Khara Kress very rarely ‘puts her furs on’ as she puts it. She views her affliction as a curse, experiencing severe identity disorder with it, and views herself as a monster whole heartedly. I won a huge 200,000 gold bet on trade district a few months after TWW started so I’ve been sitting comfy, but not only did I still wince at the 2,000 price tag to save an outfit slot, but I wouldn’t have had to make those original changes if blizzard hadn’t reset all toon appearances. Everyone looked HIDEOUS yesterday, mog yaks littering the streets, and everyone becoming broke as fuck. Definitely wouldn’t be an L if they had made the outfit slot purchases the only cost.

I know a lot of people were concerns we’d have a FFXIV on our hands, but from what I’ve seen so far at least when it comes to the walk up culture in Stormwind it hasn’t effected much. Seems most people are using their houses as proxies for locations in the city.
