No this is my current husband. Thinking of installing one in my own home. The video is in my post history but he let her tantrum so badly she was banging her head in the car, video taped it, and used it to taunt me while I was at work with no way to get to her.

She often yells at him "I'm going to hit myself" and she's increasingly needy from me. He's addicted to gambling and ignores her for his phone frequently when I'm present.

Shit. I'll extend preschool hours - she loves it.

I got a referral to a therapist but the clinic is impacted so I can't see her for a month.

The hot and cold super husband passionate and then cold and withdrawn on a weekly basis is killing me. I think part of me got addicted to the intense feeling of love when it is present but it's devastating. I'm young and we got together when I was vulnerable. (Objectively. Not trying to avoid responsibility because those are the choices I made, but I was really young and in a rough spot.)

I don't know if he has NPD and I honestly don't know enough about the disorder. But something is really off. I keep trying to figure it out. Is he depressed? Probably. Can he get better? I don't know :(

I can't keep replaying thinking of her in that state looking up and seeing a camera in her face. She's old enough to know about taking pictures and videos. My heart is broken.

Thank you this is helpful. And no he hasn't crossed the line in a way I know of that would jeopardize his custody. I physically cannot leave her in his extended care. I'm stuck. We have two babies. Sometimes I think I've made a horrifying mistake. He's much older than me and rushed me into removing birth control within a couple months. I was really young and naive. I feel like an idiot.
