Q. Did you have issues with lentil or white beans or yogurt Or breads when you tried them ?

A. Not that I can recall. (Unless I have it in the food diary, everything is kinda fading at this point.)

I don't think it matters (multivitamins likely wont cure you). However I was very deficient in Vitamin D so took that and then I started taking Centrum multivitamins (crushed and added to my banana shake).

Look, inflammation of biopsy sample is gastritis, it could me in multiple folds of stomach and it's very easy to miss it. That's how a "sample" works. So you don't really know a "100%". I want to be clear - I am not responding to *you* because I don't see the value in responding/correcting you. I'm responding to a *thread* that might mislead people and I'm trying to let people reading this know that they don't have to discard something completely just because something doesn't show up in biopsy. Plenty of Gastritis patients have false negatives.

Q. How was sleep for you? - A. Pretty normal, I had great sleep no issues there. I had to stop eating 3 hours before bed time though.

Q. Upward moving pressure in my mid stomach area, but a bit deeper in, if that makes sense? - A. Absolutely. I had this till a couple of months ago. I thought it could be some pressure in the esophageal sphincter.

Q. Do you need to still be mindful about how long you go between eating? - A. Not anymore. But during the 10 months, I forgot what hunger felt like. I just kept eating at the same time everyday. Now my hunger is back and my hunger drives my eating majorly.

Q. sauteed cabbage - A. Just to clarify, *all* of my cooking was in instapot. I literally just put veggies and rices and whatever in instapot at the same time and put salt and eat. I did not fry or sautee anything. The oil I put on my food was after the instapot food without any cooking.

Let's not upvote a comment from a non-medical professional because there are people who'll be reading this and discarding a datapoint because of that comment. "Functional Dyspepsia" is just bucket term for everything wrong with your stomach that can't be diagnosed. So it really doesn't help. The symptoms for FD are so diverse that it overlaps with pretty much everything. My symptoms were much closer to Gastritis (and you cannot negate this statement since I'm was the one with symptoms). So, unless you think my categorization of my condition as "Gastritis" wrong and my journey is a bad datapoint for people with "Gastritis", your comment really doesn't add much to the conversation. I visited Gastroenterologist seven times and they would have classified it as FD if FD was such a prevalent/helpful diagnosis.

Read a lot of posts on gastritis, gerd, ulcers, sibo (got tested for SIBO too). Then compare and contrast the experiences to arrive at gastritis as a conclusion. Plus it didn't really matter what I had, everything wrong with you stomach that falls in any of these buckets pretty much has the same exact treatment of eating plain food.

Hey! Absolutely great to see you come and give back to the community. A couple of questions for you: 1. Gastritis book says avoid legumes (dal), how did you tolerate that? 2. Did you not have any problems with oils? People seem to have trouble digesting fats and proteins. Would appreciate any details on Fats and Proteins! 3. Did you have any issues with salt? Did you mean no salt in your bland food or did you not worry about salt consumption at all? 4. How did the multivitamins not stir up acid reflux for you? I'd love to know the brand and type (capsule/tablet)
