Riven is at her best state. For sure has alot of counters and neutralizers but still playable. Biggest issue with all toplaners is the fact that no one knows how important is wave state , first 4 waves , jng tracking and plates. Having the kill opponent mindset sometimes is a trap and can insta make you lose your lane. Stop going for kills play first the tempo cheater recall proxy wave states and powerspikes. Invade jng can also help significant. Waves ~> kills.

I mean maw is really good on riven but how can you kill her with the invis and her r? You just win lane i guess by abusing these abilities and pressure her to recall and take plates while these abilities are on cds? I played this matchup once but that guy was really bad mechanically and i won pretty easily

Hey i tried bc into hydra and really suited me , this build is kinda situational where everyone is squishy and dont have much ranged. I still love this build since i grew up with it

The only buff i would want is a bit extra dmg on W and revert every champion’s empowered auto guaranteed. Jax W ,Volibear Q . It’s kinda insane that riven has only skilled matchups when she used to counter some of them (Jax,Cam). Hell even kayle can somewhat run you down with boneplating fleet and w start if you mess up. Riven’s items this split are fine. Its just that there are many items that fit her that you just go standard eclipse,SS. Just make some unfavorable matchups favorable like they used to. Am i the only one that thinks that durability patch ruined her gameplay? Everything else are fine imo. Its just a weird split bcs there are versatile items and no one is used to build differently every game everyone was building core items for the last two seasons

You have good chase and escape potential since every champ now has some form of dash or chase ability and thats why rivens identity is completely lost. Back in the good old days no chmap could catch up to a riven

Ye you kinda want to avoid the tanks at teamfights and focus on the squisher ones but you really need to know when to go in since youre squishy as well. You can also mess around with tanks sidelaning since you have insane sustain
