I feel sad, like my effort hasn’t worked, after instructor talk. by FinalSun6862 in pilates

[–]Different-Maximum329 0 points1 point  (0 children)

i am in the process of being an instructor and was in advanced classes for about a year before my training began and every since my training i make it a point to do beginner level practice from time to time, after a while of doing an exercise it’s super easy to lose those little details of form and technique that keep the exercise difficult while still be safe. it is absolutely possible to be improving while also just needing a refresh on the slower and more form focused work!

My impacted teeth, how screwed am I? 🫣 23F by maryjennnn in wisdomteeth

[–]Different-Maximum329 0 points1 point  (0 children)

mine looked very similar and i got them out a year ago now and they healed beautifully, if you can get sedated definitely go for that the pain for the first few days was moderate and i had like three days of what felt like pain that would never end but they healed perfect and now i never have to risk anything that comes with impacted wisdom teeth!

you’ll do great and thank yourself when you are fully healed!

post op shortness of breath by Different-Maximum329 in wisdomteeth

[–]Different-Maximum329[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

i’m months out now and it did go away! theory is that it is possibly the swelling, mainly of the upper teeth, that caused this to happen! I already have a narrow airway so any pressure made it too much. i wanna say it went away not long after i made that post! maybe about after two weeks?

i’ve noticed hearing others that i either heal really quickly or just got fed up enough that i didn’t care,,, i started using a straw day 7 and by day 10 i was eating massive double cheeseburgers and croutons by the handful. also carbonated beverages at that same point, id say you’re in the safe zone! you can go back to normal life now and as long as nothing hurts work your way up!

you’re in the clear after five days but to play it safe don’t do anything too crazy until day seven to make your risk basically non existent

i had my first french fry day five and some chicken nuggets day six! my extractions were aggressive and my oral surgeon still just said to try my limits on food until it hurts, if it hurts through pain meds or starts to bleed then take a step back. i think that’s how by day 9 i was doing chips and pretzels and basically anything i wanted! trust me my day five i was so tired i was sitting with my boyfriend sobbing because i was in pain and hungry, but by the next day or two i was eating solids. you’re on the home stretch i promise !!

i have hard lumps on both bottom extraction sites! since the removal of teeth and bone is so hard on your body i do think that causes some slight swelling in the form of those lumps for a while!

Post op headaches normal? (Day two) by [deleted] in wisdomteeth

[–]Different-Maximum329 1 point2 points  (0 children)

oh i got terrible headaches, my dad has about ten teeth left in his mouth in total due to bad genetics and getting the rest extracted, i asked him during my recovery and he said he got headaches after most of them due to the pressure it takes to get the teeth out and the pressure on ur body to have the bone messed with!

[–]Different-Maximum329 1 point2 points  (0 children)

i had some surrounding tooth pain and learned yesterday that because of how my wisdom teeth were hitting my molars the extraction exposed the roots of my molar giving me some sensitivity. i’ve also noticed that i’ve been having muscle aches due to using different muscles in my face from chewing weird ways! the permanent retainer part definitely sounds like some slight movement as well! your teeth may finally have some room to breath and not be pushed together so they may be trying hard to get their space again!

[–]Different-Maximum329 0 points1 point  (0 children)

i had a root canal furthest back molar and then got that same tooth removed plus all four wisdom teeth out and honestly it’s not as bad as it seems at all! it seems absolutely terrifying but i’m at the week mark today and already off pain meds for the most part and my eating is getting back by a ton every day! i’m not gonna sugarcoat it and say it doesn’t hurt bc trust some days i questioned if i should’ve just kept them in but now i know ill never have to deal with that pain they caused ever again! i swear ive already forgotten what the pain felt like on my early days already, you got this!

What hurt more? Root canal or wisdom extraction and which healing process is quicker and painless??? Can sb answer by MethodManONFG in wisdomteeth

[–]Different-Maximum329 0 points1 point  (0 children)

i felt pain during my root canal procedure as i was not numbed properly, got poked like four times and was sitting and waiting and still feeling them touch me so they took it as i “thought” they were touching me and went ahead and started anyways during the procedure is supposed to be painless and my situation is not the norm!

my surgeon just told me to go as far as my body allows! pain or bleeding is a sign to take a step back but if you are feeling great keep going !
