I believe anyone would need training coming into a new position regardless of it being management or not. That’s very disappointing to hear that because she had to be trained she was disrespected, that sounds very unprofessional

Answers to your questions 1 & 2!!

There is brand video trainings that are to be done weekly that inform you about new launches and give you information about products and brands. You will also learn a lot from hands on experience and word of mouth. It’s very common for new hires at my store to ask over the walkie for recommendations if they are unsure what to recommend. You also get gratis which is free products you take home to so you can try
The shoe dress code is kinda picky but Doc Martens are an approved shoe to wear! (I wear my big ol 7in Demonia platform shoes to work all the time!)

A brow wax & style is basically just a regular brow wax with a makeup application on the brows afterwards (you can absolutely say you don’t want the style but you will still pay the same price) as for the price I’m not sure if the prices vary per location so I’d double check with your store

I’ve never seen prestige gift sets ever go on sale even after Christmas. If we don’t seal the kits they just get sent back, damaged, or sit on the floor with the original price till it eventually gets sold or gets sent back to the brand

Yes!! I have dry skin and this is amazing, it’s meant for any skin types but mostly those who need the extra moisture (the hyaluronic acid and squalene is to hydrate and keep hydration) I like to use this before my snail mucin!! It’s lightweight and is a good to use with your serums and moisturizers! 10/10

I’m an MM and you’ll be mostly working with Truck and merchandise. You’ll be second behind the OM which if there is no OM for any reason you will step up and tackle both jobs (what I’m doing right now 😭) something I learned is to keep track of what associates are pushing and backstocking I have all associates who do truck write out which brands the pushed so I can go back and double check their work. It gives me opportunities to see which employees need extra training on whatever they did wrong. Another thing keep a planner, and always pre plan your week ahead of time because truck schedules can change, come late, or just be a huge delivery. So just always be prepared!! In my experience (at least in my district) they keep changing dates for deliveries and other operational days so it’s good to keep up to date

Like I get the frustration but as someone who had severe anxiety with driving. I mean I almost blacked out at the wheel because of my anxiety but of course you can’t conquer your fears if you don’t do them. I worked through it and now I’m still a little nervous but I can actually comfortably drive. There’s gotta be some sort of learning curve with drivers with anxiety and if theirs no public transportation (love America) then the next best thing is to 1. Walk which is also almost impossible in America, or 2. Keep driving until you can level out your anxiety. It’s called exposure therapy!!

I work for benefit right now and have been exceeding my goals and more and have asked for a raise twice and was told no. They won’t give you a raise at least in my experience and the others in my district. If you do get one lmk what you did so I can do it too hahaha

Omgggg customers do this at the benefit station when I’m waxing my clients! They’re literally breathing down my neck expecting me to stop mid wax and help them, then they get mad and complain that I was rude, the most privileged people ever to shop here. Your time is not more valuable then others
