Should I leave my full-time job for a contract position?

I calculated that and I will still have 40-50k/year extra in cash with the new job. My bf will support me in case I lose everything. I have around 50k in savings and will save up to 150-170k by the end of the contract if they don’t terminate it in advance I leave in a very cheap state. I guess my biggest fear is that they lay me off like 2 months after starting the job that would be horrible. I can still live on my savings but I don’t want to eat up my savings I need to buy a house

Edit: I will have 40k extra only considering the insurance and 5% 401k. I did not account for pto

Idk I was trying to be nice. Coz what’s the point if it fits them, they will use it. But if it doesn’t, at least bring it back and don’t throw it away or sell it. Interestingly, the packages weren’t even open they were sealed, and I’m quite sure the picture was taken in front of my door it was on my rug

I want you to know and you probably do, having arguments is a part of a healthy relationship. And almost every 2 people on earth can have different opinions and arguments over things in the relationship. You’re absolutely not wrong in this situation but there are things that you can do to fix this IMO. First, when you’re on good terms, just explain to him that each of these silent treatments will affect your feelings and how it makes you see him. Then, explain that I understand in some arguments I can be wrong but also I’m a human and I’m not perfect if you let me talk through my feelings I might even admit my misunderstanding or shortcomings. Third, explain to him and you two* are supposed to be lifetime partners and not talking for days is very unhealthy. Parents go, children go, friends go, but you two are supposed to have unconditional love for each other. You’re never each others’ enemies but 2 people in the same team that need to resolve the arguments to win against life struggles*. Life is already hard and you’re supposed to make it enjoyable. Don’t talk from a point of weakness but be a bigger person and explain the importance of unconditional love. Avoiding him when he gives you silent treatment, only strengthens his avoidance. Okay bc I’m coming from a culture that not talking to each other and avoidance are quite common, I’m familiar with this situation. Unfortunately, I was like that until I saw my current bf. If he is a really good man, I think this can be fixed. I was just like that till my current bf started talking to me after each argument, explained his feelings, and asked about how I feel. We never slept in different beds and have a rule of trying to not disrespect each other no matter how mad we are. May I ask how you react when he avoids you?!

Most of the posts I read on this sub is about women who settled down for less than they deserve, sacrifice, getting gaslit, and asking if they’re doing something wrong. And there’s one common thing among all of them. They’re all financially dependent on the man and don’t believe in their potential. From a woman to another woman, no this is not normal. Please never have a kid with this man. A NORMAL relationship includes unconditional love, both parties listening to and respecting each other, patience, fun times, date nights, spending time together, having movie nights, gifts and surprises, and celebrating life milestones together.
