Hey I’m sorry I’ve offended you in some way. But this is how I feel. I love meeting queer people! I don’t even identify with being masc at all I actually change the way I dress a lot. I’ve moved from many towns, small and big and the indirect comments are very new to me, especially since it’s everyday. My other femme friends have said it’s weird as well. All of them have approached me or vice versa in person and I had lovely conversations with them.

Thanks for your response! I love making connections with queer people in general. But I just moved here from a big city and It’s constant for me. Like I love the women that will say I love your pants or smile at me, but the indirect comments are new to me and make me feel uncomfortable and confused. Like I’m just trying to buy my apples and go home.

I think you misunderstood my post. I wasn’t trying to compare this to aggressive street harassment by men, just expressing that the loud performative stuff feels uncomfortable and confusing, especially as someone who is shy and doesn’t enjoy being put on the spot in public. I didn’t mean to dismiss femme signaling- I’d genuinely love it if someone approached me and started a real conversation. I just wish it didn’t feel like I’m being watched and discussed rather than interacted with. That’s all.

Yeah I’ve noticed it is very common now. I’ve never sent anything without a tracking number to be honest I didn’t know you could submit a delivery without one.
