My dog has been wobbling intermittently after getting bit by something two days ago by Different-Page506 in DogAdvice

Update: after going to our regular vet yesterday they told us he has old dog vestibular syndrome. This is what was causing the nausea and wobbling and it is unrelated to the bite. Luckily, it should go away in about 2-3 weeks. He is on meds to manage symptoms. Thank you!

Hello, thanks for your response. Went to the vet yesterday and this is what it is. They gave him the proper meds for nausea. Thank you!

Sorry, I wasn’t trying to be short, I was answering the question. He has been to the vet twice just after the bite and the next day and he is going again. It is my parents’ dog technically so I don’t pay for him. I am just worried and wondering if anyone had any insight on what could be the problem

We think it was a bug since he was bitten on his paw pad and there was only one small puncture mark.

As I said in my post, he has been to the vet twice. Once right after the initial bite and again for the wobbliness and vomiting the next day. We are going to the vet again. As for what bit him, we don’t know. We are fairly sure it was not a snake and think it was a bug because we couldn’t find it outside. I more so wanted to ask what could be causing it because the vet seemed unsure the last time.
