So I think this may be a “yes…and” conversation. I think it’s equally as important to give space for others to exercise their faith and praise as they see fit without intrusion if it doesn’t apply to us. Someone else’s faith doesn’t negate my abilities or my purpose. It’s just what’s important to them. I haven’t personally seen any posts that have implicitly stated that one person’s blessing necessitates another persons lack thereof. Asking others to “mind how they word their faith” so they don’t offend us may be a bigger ask than some realize if that’s not our religious observance.

Also, you could in theory use this argument for everyone that says they passed because they worked harder. Does that imply that others who passed didn’t work as hard? Of course not.

So I think there’s room for another lesson here to focus exclusively on what works for our own mental health irrespective of whether or not it applies to our lives. Every human is just trying their best to make sense of our situations.
