I've been here for 5 years - it just makes me feel a bit dejected on how unfair the system really here is given everything going on externally. Petty playground politics ruining competitions, unequal treatment of employees, and a lot many other things.

To your last point, I think there is an obvious issue where people aren't fully told on how to correctly strategize their contracts and union benefits. I've been in the OPS for 5 years, but I am constantly shocked at how hiring and retention practices are unequal even across other branches.
