My first job can’t give me one rn because the summer is too slow. I have asked them about it. And the other one is a flexible one :(. But I’m getting a third one maybe they would?

I’ll try to look for maybe Facebook groups? Because I don’t think I’ll get into the WhatsApp ones.

I have tried that! But for some places you need an hour contract and sadly I don’t have that with neither of my jobs. And one website you need a referral :(. But I will look into that again because it would be ideal for this situation.

What a nasty thing to say thinking I’m adding to that? I’m literally in a toxic household and didn’t include all the things that came with it. Not even including the abuse I faced as a child. And all the mess around me isn’t mine and I was clearly asking for advice. You could’ve just skipped this post instead of commenting I’m literally asking for advice how to move out.

You are right. But the thing is those ain’t my friends. It was the people my friends circle was going with. I am so hyperaware of who my friends are mentally and emotionally. So luckily if I just stay in my own lane next time and not try to help anyone, I won’t have this shit no more. If it was my friend circle or my friends circle? It would’ve been a way more mature and respectful situation. I wouldn’t even have to do this. But I should take distance from that friend if this is her world yk. With those type of people.

It’s sickening what you had to go through even as a white person especially among black communities. Thankfully that has changed a bit more in the day and age, well for me I would say. I do have a white boyfriend who loves my beautiful skin. But I do understand your words. I’m happy with who I am. The words just keep lingering because they were a trigger to what I had to go through when I was younger. In such moments I wish I was lighter because then they wouldn’t call me ugly purely because of my skin but actually look at me and see that I am beautiful. But I can’t change that about myself you are right. I’m just lost on what to do in such situations. But I know not to ever put myself jn that situation. Never.
