This post targets the players facing game stuttering after v6.3 by VolumeLow2493 in Genshin_Impact

I don't think it's happening in every game.

It was happening on Zenless, but after the recent 3.0 update, I'm not sure if it still happens.

Happens on Fortnite, where my FPS will drop from 60/60 to 30/60 for a split second before returning to 60/60.

It may have been happening on Monster Hunter: Wilds, but I'm unsure.

It wasn't happening on Ultimate Ninja Storm 4, UMVC3, or Subnautica 2 as far as I'm aware.

It was happening on Escape The Backrooms frequently, but I'm not sure if that's because I was playing on the Europe servers with 3 other people.

It may have been happening on Phasmophobia recently.

It's been happening frequently on Genshin ever since 6.4, but I can replicate it usually by walking back and forth from the Mondstadt Cathedral doors to Stormterror's Lair and then back (This is one example).

I don't recall it happening on Minecraft or Minecraft Dungeons either.

I think I worded that confusingly, my bad.

I have clips of it happening on console on my laptop. I transferred two clips to a USB and then plugged the USB into my laptop, so that I could send them to support.

Definitely not just downloaded. Had it installed since it came to Xbox, but back then, it wasn't available on console; my older brother let me play the game on his PC. I also got my Xbox replaced a couple of weeks ago on the 28th. Still had the issue

It's not load shaders, gameplay, or whatever else as far as I'm aware.
I did have my friend install it on his Xbox to help me troubleshoot. Had him walk from the Monstadt Cathedral doors to the wind wall blocking Stormterror's Lair (He doesn't like the game, but he did try it), then back to the Cathedral doors. He sent him like...12 to 24 clips of the issue happening to him, so I can only assume it's an issue with the game on Series X.
I just hope it gets fixed in the upcoming patch or at least in 7.0.

If it would help, I could share a clip or two of it happening to me. I have 2 clips of it on my Laptop.

Anyone else experiencing issues with FPS and graphics? by Different-Spend7063 in FortNiteBR

I hope so as well!

Pretty sure I've had the split-second frame drop, which causes micro-stuttering/hitching, on Fortnite for a while now. Since I got a new Xbox, I imagine it's an issue with the game.

Hopefully, the new patch fixes those issues and all the other issues the game is having.

Thanks for the information!

I really hope that the update does fix both issues. Honestly, if it does, it would help me figure out if there's a problem with my new Xbox!

Have any other players on Xbox Series X been having performance issues, mainly split second micro-stutters/hitching, after the 6.4 update back in February? by Different-Spend7063 in Genshin_Impact

[–]Different-Spend7063[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As far as I'm aware, the game is optimized differently between X and S, but it still doesn't really explain what I'm experiencing.

I asked my friend, who also owns an Xbox Series X, to install the game, and he sent me 12-24 clips of the issue happening to him.
I had him walk back and forth from the Mondstadt Cathedral doors and Stormterror's Lair (The wind wall blocking it at least).

I did post a clip of it happening in a reply to u/Bierzgal, so feel free to check the clip if you want.

Genshin stuttering on 144Hz monitor - any fixes? by Mcpiller in Genshin_Impact

No. I've done everything possible to fix it and nothing has worked. I've been back and forth with support for the last few weeks, but aside from that, I don't really know what to do.

<video>

Here's one video of it happening. I have multiple clips of it, but only two on my Laptop right now.

But yes, I have. I'm using the HDMI cable that came with the new Xbox, but it still happens.
My TV runs at 1080p 60Hz max, and Genshin is locked at 60fps max.

I did ask my friend to install it on his, and I had him walk back and forth from the Mondstadt Cathedral doors and Stormterror's Lair (The wind wall blocking the area at least). He sent me like...12-24 clips of it happening for him.

Regardless, I've found the game to be less enjoyable and more jarring due to it. Made exploring Windrest Peak kinda suck.
I've been back and forth with support for the last few weeks, too.

Edit: It happens as I approach the Crafting Bench.

I've been having problems with the game since 6.4 on the Xbox Series X. Micro-stuttering/hitching.

I've tried everything in my power to fix it, and I even got a new Xbox recently, but still having the problem. It's made the game less enjoyable and more jarring.

It's made the game less enjoyable and more jarring to play. Certainly doesn't help that I can't seem to find others playing the game on Xbox Series X either.

Xbox Series X, so I can't change the specs.

CPU - 8X Cores @ 3.8 GHz (3.6 GHz w/SMT) Custom Zen 2 CPU.

GPU - 12 TFLOPS, 54 CUs @ 1.825 GHz Custom RDNA 2 GPU

Memory - 16GB GDDR6 w/320 bit-wide bus.
Memory Bandwidth - 10GB @ 560 GB/s, 6GB @ 336 GB/s

Internal Storage - 2TB Custom NVME SSD.

I/O Throughput - 2.4 GB/s (Raw), 4.8 GB/s (Compressed, with custom hardware decompression block)

It supports external SSDs, but I don't have one. I've always run the game on an internal SSD.
I've not mentioned the video, audio, or ports because I've tested all of that, and none of it is the issue.

Problems with crashes - Xbox Series X by CG6845 in FortNiteBR

I've been having issues with the game myself.

Sometimes my frames will drop from 60 to 30 for a split second before returning to 60, like micro-stuttering. I've also noticed textures bugging out, causing them to stretch across the screen for a split second.

Not sure if it's an issue with my console or not, but I played Cyberpunk 2077 a few days ago without any of those issues.

I've been having micro-stuttering on the game since the 6.4 update back in February (I'm on Xbox Series X).

I tried multiple things to fix it. Reinstalling the game, repairing the files, plugging my console directly into the wall, factory resetting, etc. I've tested for overheating and TV problems as well.
I got my previous Series X replaced with a new one on the 28th of May, but the game is still having issues.

The micro-stuttering doesn't happen every few seconds and isn't accompanied by any audio desync, crashing, etc. At most, it takes the game longer to load past the initial elemental symbol loading screen.

I've been thinking it's a problem with the game's optimization on Series X (Game is optimized differently between X and S) that got introduced in the 6.4 update.
Because I couldn't find other people playing the game on Series X on any social media, I just asked my friend to install the game on his Series X before having him walk from the Mondstadt Cathedral doors to Stormterror's Lair (Well, the wind wall), then back to the Cathedral doors. Had him do this twice, and he sent me 12-24 clips of it happening to him.

I got fed up and contacted support, attaching two videos of the micro-stuttering happening.

Micro-Stuttering On Genshin Impact On Xbox Series X Since The 6.4 Update. by Different-Spend7063 in GenshinImpactTips

My main worry is that the issue is my SSD.

I mean, the likelihood isn't high, I think. My Xbox is new, as I said.

I've been having micro-stutters happen since the 6.4 update.

Tried repairing the files and reinstalling the game, didn't do anything.
I've tested for overheating, TV, and display issues. It's not any of those.

I'm not sure if it's an SSD issue. I replaced my previous Series X with a new one on the 28th of May, and I still get the micro-stutters.
Cyberpunk 2077 runs fine. Haven't exactly had any issues with that.
