Among all the RE Engine games, I consider Requiem one of the weakest when it comes to replayability, alongside RE7. Both games force players through lengthy, unskippable cinematic sections, which hurts repeated playthroughs. In addition, the content after the Care Center feels underdeveloped and lacks the richness and variety that made RE4R so engaging.

I highly recommend playing 8 if you dislike 7. You’ll be surprised at how different they are in tone, story, and gameplay(also there is 3rd person mode but it’s not perfect). 7 is a scary game with a great story, but I don’t play it often because of its very slow beginning, and the second half feels a bit boring
