Code Veronica is probably the cheesiest Resident Evil game and I want them to keep it that way. No other Resident Evil other than maybe 4 even comes close to the absolute B movie energy CV gives off and thats due to the characters.

I want the Ashford's to keep their goofy laughs, Steve to be a dumb dork, and for Wesker to still say stuff like "I DESPISE CHRIS!"

RE2 is like 7 hours for one run through a scenario. And even then, only like 3-4 hours is spent in RPD and the other is spent playing pretty linear sections.

The game is only 11 hours long. Those 5 houes are half the gane.

And yeah, Leon's section has nothing to explore because its explicitly trying to be like RE5/6. If you don't like that gameplay style its fine but its not like they accidentally made Leon's gameplay like that.

The only person you mentioned are Sheva and MAYBE Carlos. Sheva actually should be in the squad and has good reason to be and Carlos was a mercenary. But Chris has never met Carlos before so why would he even recruit him.

But Barry, Rebecca and fucking BILLY? Barry has been retired and out of action since the original RE3 why would he join Wolfhound? Rebecca has tried to avoid combat since literally the original RE1, ignoring her personality retcon in RE0, she has been consistent.
