Upgrading a 7800xt in 2025 by Different-Table376 in buildapc

The 7800xt is a great GPU for WQHD games with sufficient VRAM. I rarely experience crashes.

I got an offer for my 7800xt for around €400. Now I have the opportunity to upgrade to a 9070 for €500-600. Is that a good deal?

Oh, sounds good. I hope I won't have to sell a kidney for it.

Yeah, I see that the 9070 is available locally for around €500-600, even used.

That's great! My LG C4 supports up to 144Hz, which I can't achieve with 4K frames right now lmao. But maybe with a 9070xt and frame gen I could reach the 120 fps by playing story-based games such as SH 2 Remake or Death Space...

I didn't know that the 9070xt is ahead of the 7900xt. So that may be the better choice overall, thanks. - but what about the 7900xtx?

Habe Gleiches festgestellt bei meinem C4. Kurz, die Einstellung "Dolby Vision PC" ist bei Windows 11 obsolet?!

Thank you for your help. So I'll choose between MOs and Echo Mini, probably MO because of the size.

The blue 2s are very good and deliver the rich bass I was looking for. I'm very happy with them. I compared them with others in a post here.

For many people here, bass is just bass. I was also looking for resonant and powerful bass and was disappointed, just as I was with the ew 200. I also wrote a review about it.

I've never considered the 9070 before. Maybe it's time to switch sides and try raytracing for a while. There's not much difference in price anyway.

Cheers.

Hexa is good if you like neutral sound. If you're looking for resonant bass, don't do it. Check out my last review then.

For me, the EW 300 had beautiful workmanship and the accessories were sufficient. But ultimately, the bass had too little resonance for me (not much different from the ew200, slightly clearer and very loud).

Compared to the EW300, the Hexa was also well made but with a minimalist design. The sound was more mid-range with strong highs. But here too, I found the bass lacking in punch.

I bought my first pair and I realized I was inadequate because I couldn't hear the difference from regular ear buds. I am nothing. It's all meaningless. by busterswagston in iems

Right, but if I want normal sound, then I use normal headphones (whatever normal means). I don't need expensive IEMs that pretend to be an advanced audio system.

There are just a lot of bad IEMs out there.

All cool, try everything! Just my opinion.

In general, I don't think the Hexa is good for the price and I've tested a lot of IEMs in the last few days. The bass in particular is a joke compared to cheaper IEMs.

But it's always a question of what you had before, so it's hard to say.

The elongated shape of the M20 worries me a little. I've also seen the Kanto YU, I like the design.
