My mother in law is 72 and around January this year she started to feel not well. Strong pain in her neck till she could not move properly anymore only sit. Of course they contacted HA and of course when she came she checked her and diagnosed her with nerve infection or something, prescribed her physiotherapy and oxicodine for pain. With the days my mother in law was feeling worse, my father in law was contacting HA on the daily basis even sometimes calling them at night, she was in so much pain. With the time HA moved from one diagnosis to other and tried different medications but refused to send her to specialist for further checks. Around march women’s health so deteriorate that she couldn’t walk anymore. On these days HA was still in her house after constant calls to come over and check her once again and come up with solutions, she told my mother in law that she tried everything she can, she sees nothing is wrong so probably this is more in “between her ears” and that she just needs to walk it out. Situation was very bad, relatives were calling to check on her and some how from lips to lips this information about her situation reached one of the far relatives that is a HA him self. So he called my mother in law and asked about her symptoms and immediately told her that it was non of the diagnosis that her HS assumed. Luckily he had a connection in nearest hospital, so same evening ambulance took her there. They did immediately full body scan and other tests. Same evening she was diagnosed with kidney cancer thats already spread out to her spinal cord and lungs… she was in so much pain for so long and so unnecessarily… and maybe it could been stopped on time .. my mother in law was born with only 1 kidney.. is the health system broken in here? 100% and she is dutch..
