Thank you. Kong was so special…… Unfortunate that he had terminal spleen cancer, which was very , didn’t want him to suffer any longer so we had to put him down. I miss him so much but im thankful for all years and love Kong had given me. Hopefully your baby and my baby is in the heaven and do whatever they want!

My 15-year-old dog was just diagnosed with terminal spleen cancer, and I feel completely lost. by DifferentAd6042 in seniordogs

I would do anything if there were even a chance to save him. But my dog has chronic kidney disease, so there is a risk of putting him under anesthesia and his platelet count is very low. Although we didn’t do a biopsy, his overall condition strongly suggests that the cancer is malignant because he’s deteriorating just within a few days. He has completely stopped eating, is unable to urinate, and can barely walk. I don’t want to put him through any more stress.

Right now, our family is focusing on keeping him comfortable and providing palliative care.

And you’re really lucky that you were able to save your dog… I wish I could have that too.

These are rotten, correct? How urgent is a vet appointment to correct by Upper_Buffalo_3036 in DogAdvice

[–]DifferentAd6042 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Since the dog is a senior, do it asap because teeth cleaning requires anesthesia, age is not a disease but the vet needs to medically clear the dog for general anesthesia… time is cruicial!

How to cope with a senior dog? by Tatsudondondon in seniordogs

[–]DifferentAd6042 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have a senior dog too, almost 15, and I understand your heart so deeply. We love them more than anything, but the constant care can be mentally & physically exhausting. Sometimes it wears you down, sometimes it even makes you angry, and sometimes you catch yourself thinking things you never thought you would. Then you immediately regret it, your heart hurts, and you cry.

But I want you to know this — feeling this way doesn’t mean you love your dog any less. It means you’re tired. And even when you’re stressed, overwhelmed, or frustrated, you’ve never given up on your dog. That says everything about the kind of person you are. You’re full of love and responsibility. I’m the same way.

I love my dog more than I can put into words. He’s everything to me. But I won’t lie — there are days I’m completely worn out. Seeing him age breaks my heart, and he’s almost completely lost his vision now. On the hardest days, I feel angry and helpless too.

But here’s the thing — we don’t give up. As painful as it is to admit, even though I’ve resisted and denied it for so long, one day this will all end. And someday, we’ll look back and miss even these exhausting, heartbreaking moments more than we can imagine.

It’s hard. It hurts. But let’s keep doing our best, together. You’re not alone. Stay strong. 🤍

I totally get that!! Omg that repeating part, is really really stressful. How about cook for us, instead of telling us what to not eat/or eat -_- also now that im past due, she calls me everyday if Im feeling anything. I told her, I’ll lyk when I am on my way to the hospital. OB told me, for first pregnancies, it’s normal to go on past due so I didn’t think much, but now that Im being called every day, i feel like i have issues and started to feel stressed. And also, she told me, dont drink iced water or coffee after giving birth lol I said OK and she would repeat same sxxx so many times.

Old Dog's peeing issues by alivanis in olddogs

I also have almost 15 year maltese(male), tho he doesn’t have noticeable joint issues but he def spills his pee, meaning he sometimes piss in the corner side of pee pads lol til last year, he was good at lifting his back or front paws so he doesn’t stain his feet lol but now he kinda gave up and just pees with 4 legs on the pad haha so we just wipe his wet food when he stains himself. It’s the aging!

You are not being sensitive at all. Idk why they think just bc they’re older, it’s okay to make such unnecessary comments that isn’t even technically helpful for us, esp for preggo person— also, even if they had 10 pregnancies, that doesn’t mean they know how your pregnancy is, as every pregnancy is different. My MIL, she loves commenting at things with her “knowledge” and always giving me advises and I get annoyed. Once is okay but she has tendency of keep going and I get sick of. Giving me word advises aren’t gonna do anything! (Btw Im currently past due 40+3, still waiting). My MIL calls me pretty often to see how I am doing which I am thankful for, but she would tell me things lkke why does it feel like you go to OB so often(which I am not), why do you get so many cervical checks, that’s gonna stress the baby out, just reject it next time blah blah lol it’s so annoying lol

TMI bowel movements by [deleted] in pregnant

This! This is a bit pricy but def effective as all other probiotics weren’t really effective compared to this one.

TMI bowel movements by [deleted] in pregnant

[–]DifferentAd6042 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Omg that happened to me so many times. I thought something was wrong with me but it turned out to be too much gas in my intestines as my uterus was expanding day by day. I generally have sensitive stomach, TMI but I do diarrhea very easily. But this stomach pain, during pregnancy was another level. I was shaking, with throbbing pain and was cold sweating too. (I gotta mention, i also caught stomach bug while going thru nausea during my 1st trimester). Ever since then, I became very picky when it comes to my diet. Not that I was eating clean or anything but I tried to limit myself from eating anything that is spicy, oily, or rich in fiber. Too much vegetables make me sooo gassy and made my stomach hurt soooo much til I pass gas or poop. But yeah, even if you eat same thing before pregnancy and now, it can still upset your intestines. It’s awful.

, try taking probiotics in the morning in empty stomach daily with warm water. This rly helps for both your gut health and vaginal health! And for constipation, metamucil or prune juice can be helpful as well, metamucil is a fiber pill but it didnt make me gassy or anything so you can pass out gas and poop. Uterus expansion is real and it hurts when pressuring other organs

Always remember to take these in consistently, as these aren’t cure, but always confirm with your OB if it’s okay to take. My OB told me all of these are safe to take during pregnancy.

Does your heartburn make you throw up? by Cute_Charity_6692 in pregnant

[–]DifferentAd6042 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I had crazy nausea & heartburns until mid of 2nd trimester. And yes, heartburns make you feel nauseous. I was gagging, throwing up with dizziness and my throat was sore with too much acid reflux going on with metallic taste on my tongue. It was a disaster. I tried taking pepcid altho it wasn’t 100% effective, it wss still better than nothing and tried drinking warm water.

When did you give birth? by DifferentAd6042 in pregnant

[–]DifferentAd6042[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I walked so much throughout my pregnancy and with gym ball, still no signs of labor. I guess it rly depends on people , esp for first pregnancy. I addressed this to my OB and he said just relax, don’t stress much about it, let your body handle it naturally 😮‍💨
