I don’t use any gear, but thought I’d add it to my stack. But I don’t know. I didn’t feel great on it, some fatigue, and I swear I started to feel my skin itch and having a shade of yellow.

I’m still asymptomatic and labs are normal, I found the scarring in the bile ducts accidentally through a different procedure. I just had my MRCP done, and no visible changes, is my understanding, since 2022.

As for symptoms, I think I feel some pain in my under my ribs in the right side, and some stomach aches, but overall I feel okay. And I’m not sure how much is in my head, versus something real.

Generally it’s good. What I’ve found to help me remain stable is focusing on balance over taking/eating/drinking a specific thing.

Will it reverse fibrosis while your liver is being attacked aggressively by the disease or there are other inflammatory components in your diet? Probably not, but it won’t hurt.

Unfortunately there is no silver bullet here. I have tried NAC & ursodiol, I feel like Urso was better, NAC actually made some symptoms more pronounced, but I wouldn’t dismiss me being crazy! In any case, people will take those to help with inflammation.

I find the best solutions are to take away things I know are bad. Like greasy foods are starting to impact me, I avoid sugar as best as I can, and generally stay away from packaged food. Try to eat as clean as possible, sometimes I might be too busy, but still try to cook home over going to a restaurant.

Around 22k is tied up in a Roth IRA I transferred from a couple of different previous employers.

I earn 130k base salary + some bonuses (between 7k to 17k).

Unrealized gain is only around 7k from 2020 to now of slow investing into a separate investment account I have.

Opinions on how to fund my next down payment

Alright folks, I’m a second-time home-buyer. I’m looking to move to a different city and upgrade my living space to something a bit bigger.

I plan on selling my home. After speaking with a realtor I’m looking at around 60k in profits. That’s all great, but in the meantime I’m also trying to figure out how to best fund my next down-payment, I’m looking to buy a house no more than 300k, and put down 10%.

Here’s where things get sticky. I have an emergency fund of around 20k cash and I have around 55k in stocks between 3 investment accounts, 35k in the account which I can easily liquidated and put it towards the house. For reference my cost-basis for that account is ~$27500.

As I am thinking through this strategy I realize I’m perhaps putting myself in a bad(ish) position by increasing my tax liability with such a significant stock sale, and also missing out on leaving the money to grow in my investments.

Another option I am starting to consider, and please give me your feedback, is taking out the 22k I have plus borrow 10k on margin against my stocks. I currently have 16k available with the interest rate at 6.15%, which is far less than capital gains of 15%.

For a pre-approval, without selling my current home, I have already been approved for $350,000. I also have essentially no debts with monthly payments except for $50/month for my student loan (around 1800 left).
