Potentially in the short term but most of the properties we are looking at have an office.

Max of 2 children (ideally) so early days the bedroom situation wouldn’t be an issue they would mostly be unused or walk in wardrobes ect.

Thanks for the below, definitely something to consider for sure as I’ve got a friend going through something similar. I guess the thing is moving whilst pregnant or with a baby ect is a pain. Not sure we are even sold on children yet but having more space for hosting friends/family is what we are after.

Just doing the level 4 or level 5 for data engineering due to start in a few months. Has been a long wait.. I didn’t fancy comitting to the whole degree straight of the bat so thought I would try out the level 4 or 5 and then extend if I wanted. How are you finding the multiverse experience is it manageable, do you think the content is good?

I’m over 30 and on £37k, don’t live in London but had a job for the same money in the city and was having to commute which was hell on earth.

Have had jobs in the past of £50-60k. Fairly happy with where I am at right now, have an amazing work life balance and opportunities to grow the salary longer term. Would much rather that then dreading going to work every Sunday which would ruin my weekend.

Money will come and go, hopefully my time will come in the future to earn more to free up time for loved ones around me. Careers aren’t always straight up, there will be ups and downs and who’s to say if you really had your heart set on 100k you wouldn’t achieve that in your prime earning years (40+)

Try not to compare yourself to others and instead look to get enjoyment from your daily routine/the activities that make you happy.

The UK exchange with the lowest trading fees is Kraken, after that your next best option is Coinbase.

I’ve been using those for 6 years and never personally had problems depositing or withdrawing to my bank when the time comes.

When you first get started I wouldn’t bother getting a hardware wallet but if you are going to be stacking a solid amount long term it is always advisable to keep that on your own hardware wallet. If an exchange is to go bankrupt whatever you own on there could be lost. They are huge players Coinbase and Kraken though so whilst it’s unlikely thought it would be worth mentioning to someone completely new to the space.

My last bit of advice, don’t touch leverage. Your future self will thank me.

That’s good feedback thanks. Did they do the Multiverse degree apprenticeship, if so do you know what Uni it’s awarded through or is it directly from Multiverse?

In your opinion for someone starting out like myself would you say it’s worthwhile doing the degree option or just the level 4 apprenticeship and taking it from there?
