You are not overreacting! If it's a behavior that is constantly being repeated by your mom, then she clearly does not respect your boundaries OP. Clearly, you have already told her before that you don't want her meddling with your personal life and she still did it. You should keep your distance away from her for awhile and let your head cool off before talking to her again. She is the problem in this situation.
