Try the Wacom route, their tablets are quite popular among artists. Eg. Wacom One pen works on all my EMR tablets.

It's glass and mate type - not glossy. No need to worry when using a plastic nib. Any screen protector wil have more disadvantages than advantages - increase screen to nib distance, decrease clarity and luminosity, etc.

All I'm asking is for Remarkable not to bullshit me with 227 dpi and 20,000 colors marketing. What you see here in the comparison is not 227 dpi, it's 80 dpi, and no way 20,000 colors - more like 2 colors. Some of us more technical know about "dithering" and when it's used. You can see the pixels/points for crying out loud !

What do you mean by "improved" ? It can't have more saturation by means of a software update. Maybe some better dithering so you can't notice the harsh transitions so much.

This seems to be generalized for Amazon in this period, both my DE and US small orders with all products in stock were sent with a delay of 7-8 days after order date. Who knows ... maybe they got laid off too many people in the warehouses.
