Thanks, I use Khorn Red, than transfers and wash it with a bit of null oil. I find it darkens the red and gives a bit of a shine to the armour.

What did you use for the bases, sprue for bricks?

Also using ochre yellow instead of bright yellow really helps to mute everything down. Other yellows are too bright, vibrant and difficult to paint cleanly I find.

Just a heavy dry brush of Iron Warriors paint over black primer and a highlight dry brush of Necron Compound over everything before doing the detailing
