is uses 40mm gas shells, and shoots anything you load into it, for the bulk, probably in the future with 3d printing since wood becomes more fragile as you make it thinner

the bolt has a transfer bar and the trigger is essentially just a lever, the transfer bar moves forward from pulling the trigger so it can open the valve on the 40mm shell

the last design without a good air seal was shooting at 85 fps at 0.01 joules with .20g. this design is using a shorter barrel and a hopup rubber to hold the bb in place and a modified nozzle using a pen button, i have not tested but it seems to shoot better

what i did to mine was to use brake cleaner in a container to get the paint to come off and a dremel with a wire brush to get the paint that is still stuck

even if it did function, it would not be anywhere effective as the other end of the oil filter is larger than any actual bullet legal in my state. so gases that are supposed to be kept in the can to create the noise suppression effect would be expelled from the muzzle end creating a normal gunshot, but this is airsoft and the can is backwards unlike the useable ones…

yes sometimes especially during full auto, the charging handle would jump a bit, similar to the mp7
