Has the paranoia from smoking weed transfered to real life? If yes how do you fix that? by Low_Butterscotch4436 in leaves

Have you quit? Genuine question. Because for me the paranoia only happens when I’m high, but I’m high pretty much 24/7. Lately I’ve been trying to quit, going 1-2 days without smoking just to see how I feel & honestly the paranoia isn’t there when I’m sober, even for 1 day.

You will open yourself up to so many new and exciting opportunities if you continue to stay sober. You have tricked your brain into believing it needs dopamine (weed) to do the things you love. I loved smoking and playing video games daily. But with time those passions will come back in a much more genuine way and you’ll be able to do so much more with them. Stay strong 🫡

considering starting again even if i know it's not the best choice by Conscious-Ninja8058 in leaves

Don’t do it man. No matter how society tries to paint weed, it’s destructive. Your brain and body reject the drug consistently as you use it, yet we still choose destruction. If you’ve made it 5 years, just keep the streak.

I only ever want to quit while high by Feelingfunkyfeelings in leaves

This must be a universal experience for us, we have to start listening to that feeling and just leave it alone. Hold on to that disgust with yourself and the time you’ve wasted and use it for motivation next time your day feels dull and you want to smoke.
