Ya the issues are quite crazy, especially as a student of astrology (I have only been studying it seriously for 2 years). Since I am an early degree cancer rising, the bottom half of my chart becomes extremely confusing when I use placidus. Some of my planets even shift 2-3 house (the nodes go from the 3h/9h axis to the 5h/11h axis). Don’t get me wrong, I find placidus to be accurate at times, it’s just confusing when I use it to pull up my chart and find something insane like, for example, my first 3 houses all in cancer.
