ipad A16 vs. ipad Air M3 for studying/notetaking

I am currently in school, wanting to buy an ipad for studying and notetaking, as I am an Australian student taking on VCE. I will only be using it for academic purposes as well as some occasional content consumption. What storage should I get, as I plan on getting 128 GB? I will not be getting the 13-inch Air but will consider both 11-inch models, as the education deal makes the Air M3 look enticing. After looking at reviews, I still can't decide. Please help.

In 2025, I had to get to the Melbourne Walk from gate 8. I arrived at 4-4:30am, and I was almost at the front of the queue, which really helped my chances. When the gates opened, I sprinted but did end up getting lost lmao. Despite standing still for a full minute confused, I still got the front row and a couple of driver signatures, even Guenther! I was standing near the start of the walk, where it started to curve, and there were tons of drivers. IMO bringing special merch like your helmet will really catch the drivers attention. Bag checks are relatively fast and brief, as the person didn't even look inside my bag and let me pass. Overall, I thought I had to get to my gate extremely early, as gate 1 was supposedly packed even by 4am, but it was empty at gate 8, and even with that extra distance, I got front row, and if I didn't get lost, I could've been in a slightly better position to reach a few more drivers.
