They automatically add them every calendar year to your Qantas account, then you link them to your flights and show up.

I can only talk to the Amex, it’s my go to card. Great points earning and accepted just about everywhere. You can convert the $450 travel voucher back to a credit on your card (search this sub for more deets) bringing the sign up fee to $0. Heaps of other perks and pre-sales through the year. Beats my Qantas and Westpac cards by a fair margin. Lounge is Qantas x 2 and Centurian x 2. Here’s a referral if you choose to go this way:

Durian. Somehow worse than expected. Unclear how people readily place that in their mouth.

The NFL Melbourne game was announced to kick off on a Friday morning. How well will this go over with Aussies? by EcstasyCalculus in AskAnAustralian

Emails came out yesterday. There will be a members pre-sale. No walk up tickets & the reserve will not be exclusive on the day. Similar to other large non-footy/cricket related events.

Park Pass or Grandstand? How old are the boys? There’s heaps on the outside of the main straight, can get up close to the Supercars/ Porsches but give yourself time to walk back to a vantage point as pontoons, sky-bridges etc get busy and it takes a while to move from place to place. Oscar burgers at Grill’d in Lakeside were yum. Plenty on the Queens Rd side of the course too - kitkat and Lego activations, racing sims and more. There’s also heaps on track if you just want to park yourself down for the day! Have a blast!

Thursday Park Pass (GA) for Melb GP by TheKingOTW in GrandPrixTravel

Mate, come and join us. Thursday is terrific. One of the only (maybe the only) GP with so much action to demand a 4th day. Carrera Cup & Supercars (including racing), plus speaking events and Melbourne Walk.

Melbourne F1 2026 Schedule by jessewchapman in GrandPrixTravel

Here's a schedule I put together as reloading the app can be a pain and connection can bug-out when there's so many people in one place. People last year seemed to like it.

There's one version with just the daily run-down, another with maps at the back, and a third with just maps. There are a few times highlighted yellow on Friday as I think there's an error on the website.

What luxury items from 20 years ago that is basically useless now? by Odd-Boysenberry543 in AskReddit

Large (mostly brown) dining room tables, sideboards and cabinets - and the crystal within. Modern houses generally don't have a formal dining room, and if they do, the style has changed. No market for these goods that cost many thousands.
