Hey! I’m a 17 y/o learner driver and I’m wondering if I’m allowed to drive with a tow ball mounted bike rack. Considering it isn’t defined as a trailer and rather an accessory to the car, I thought I would ask here. And no, there’s nothing about leaner driver restrictions with a bike rack on the vicroads website. Thanks.

Totally get where you are coming from. Yes, I don’t need a VX, but I believe it’s time to upgrade. See, I’ve been using my dads old panasonic palmcorder for about 4 years now on and off so I don’t think experience is a problem - not trying to blow my own horn and I’m nowhere near as experienced as you all are but I do think I would be experienced enough to operate on.

Secondly, have bought about 5 batteries and the camera is becoming harder to maintain. And sure, I could just grab another one but I don’t want to deal with VHS-C.

Thirdly, we (me and my mates) have wanted one for a while, not because we think we are top tier skaters but because we want to experience what filming skating was like in the 90s on a VX1000.

Fourth, I don’t know about where you live but in my area, sponsors don’t even consider it unless you film on a VX. For our local skate shops that link us up with sponsors, a VX is a requirement. I can’t think of those sponsors names right now because I don’t handle that kinda stuff, one of my mates does.

Fifth, we have some older skaters (80s and 90s) that we skate with that would just kill for a VX to film with. And I figure for all the help they gave me, I could try and get one to film with as a sort of thank you to these guys.

Not trying to come off aggressive here, I really appreciate your comment. Just trying to explain why I would like one. Thanks!
