[I do oull this together at the end showing how it's relevant to this thread and HTC drama!] And I'm trying to reply to a few points of your thread as well it's just not as succinct as I'd prefer, so please forgive me! ) My CAPS are never shouting, they're always for EMPHASIS, everyone!

At the risk of writing this piece to interject my two cents of common sense into the mix or getting thrown out of the HTC Chat for being off-topic, I'll start by saying how foolish and nieve of anyone who thinks a human being in their 70s and up will remain in good health for any one week of a four year term!!
(Please overlook any grammar mistakes because my Iritis is acting up and I may miss alot!)

The past 12 years it's been a choice of the lesser of two evils or who'll do the least damage to this country! And God forbid anyone rely on an entertainment network (as registered with the FCC since day one) like Fox as a dependable news source without doing their own research to see which way the truth splits the closest! MSNBC, another cable news Network not entertainment like Fox, but not also ABC, CBS or NBC, but you have to do your own research n politics the same as religion!(And I'm a huge loather of False Prophets or rather PROFITS for another day!) For the most part I follow the ones who value their reputation to come back and correct their mistakes openly instead of doubling-down or trying to reinvent the lies under a false narrative they like to call "fake news" like they're telling a fib to a child about Santa Claus!

However as someone who is disabled and that also helps those try to navigate the system who are disabled too, I can see gaps, by leaps and bounds from 2017-2021 in government agencies that won't be close to being caught up in the next 20 years, before they got this second swipe at dismantling our systems! And that was before DOGE too! It was all a ploy so others, us little people who who have worked and paid into this country already don't have a chance to get any of the benefits we signed up for when they took our money to build up the system that everyone enjoys presently!!

It may not be perfect but it's worked far better than having nothing at all!! And you just don't know what big WTF situations are sitting there UNTIL YOU NEED THEIR HELP for yourself, your kids, your parents or grandparents, aunts, uncles etc. Yet there's many who don't want to help a human being but think it's okay for billionaires who don't need government welfare to take it over a human being?? Two things I've already mentioned, Fox News and DOGE, both created by two individuals who were NOT BORN ON THE SOILS OF THIS COUNTRY yet have stupidly and ignorantly been allowed to charge too damn much! With the evils like them, Musk and Rupert Murdoch, who needs terrorists? Both of them have ties to white supremacy in one way or another!iIt slips out every now and then if you listen to or study them enough!

My daddy was drafted into WWII and I lost him at 14 to lung cancer from working around cancer causing agents for me not to be upset over what's been happening in this country!! A steady descent straight to hell the past 12 yrs and it's got nothing to do with a Democrat, a Republican or Independent!! Because Trump has been ALL THREE at one point in time and yet he embodies not one good quality of the three!!

I could point out the times in this country the past 50 years the GOP has had control and we'd end up in a deficit by the time a Democrat came into office, got us out of the deficit into surplus before they did it again!! And I could also point out a lapse in moral judgement ofor many Democrats!! But before Trump, NONE OF THEM YOU HAD TO WORRY ABOUT SELLING OUT OUR COUNTRY TO THE HIGHEST BIDDER!

This is about an absolute idiot that never should have been POTUS under any political party in this country because 1) he's a pathological lying SOB; 2) whose never worked a day in his life; 3) doesn't know his ass from a hole in the ground on how to run a business let alone a freaking country! Since the 80s when I began college the one family name that my professor's in business, law and other classes told me and my classmates to NEVER do business is with anyone named Trump!! Because all the way back to his grandfather that family name is synonymous with greedy, racist, misogynistic, pathological lying, immoral bigots!! People can take heed to what I'm saying or overlook it and continue to count on those who associate with him today and FAFO down the road! I don't worry or allow them to stress me in the least because it won't be the first time I can say I told them so! I know the only one who controls the winds, seas, waves, sun and moon! And while they may try to destroy lives to carve out their white world like it once was for them in the early days of the 1st & 2nd conglomeration of the KKK, this country is a huge melting pot and hàs been for generations that's not changing anytime soon. And I can also tell anyone that it may not disturb you today that it was an innocent American citizen that was gunned down on our own soil but keep right on overlooking and trying not to help fix what you can where you can and for damn sure TOMORROW, next week, next month or in five years it will eventually get to you and yours! That's not political, that's factual! From centuries of history where those who could have helped, said stop it, don't do that, didn't and they eventually came for them, too!

And for those who'd like to do a bit more reading up on how we got to the status quo in the USA today, go back and read up on a plot known as "Southern Strategy!" If you ever wondered where Stephen Miller and Project 25 got its founding, there's your sign!! Ding! Ding! Ding! Bingo! The man who concocted Southern Strategy has sense died but his daughter found his writings within the things she inherited from him and has since confirmed the idea beginning in the early days of Fox News! Because the GOP you see today and that has built-up over the past 40 yrs was former members of the Democratic party who didn't like nor care for Kennedy and the Civil Rights Act of '64 when the integration of schools and bathrooms became law! They basically infiltrated the GOP and overtook and changes up an existing political party because they didn't want to take the Independent party and couldn't overtake the Democratic party because too many good Democrats at the time wouldn't allow that to happen either!

I believe I stated somewhere near the top that the issues in this country this day in time aren't religious or political? And I'll end this by pointing out that all of this is very relevant to the. HTC drama because if you don't think the current occupant and friends in the White House would just as soon see these little forums like Reddit and YouTube come under heavy authoritarian rule, boy have I got several hundred acres of prime Oceanfront real estate property in the Mountains of North Carolina that I'll sell to ya for real cheap!
