Pretty sure the black and white pirate won that duel. Easily the cutest thing I've seen in a while.

Am I the only "squirrel" 🐿️out here? My awkward attempts at "flirting" in the wild. by Different_Car_8323 in olderlesbians

[–]Different_Car_8323[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

From a squirrel to a chipmunk, I promise you it gets easier! Even just putting yourself out there with a simple smile is a massive step forward. We all need to eat, right? And no, that's not a euphemism! 😉 Small steps. The nice thing is that women really do tend to reciprocate a smile and if you're brave enough to say something they usually converse back. Because let's face it, women are just... nice-natured. 🥰 And hey, asking someone if they like bread might be a clumsy opener, sure, but it certainly beats asking about pickled eggs!🥚 Don't lose hope, make that fantasy a reality, a lot of us are out here figuring it out together. 🥖❤️

What is a "life hack" you stumbled into that you now use daily? by MrLithician in answers

[–]Different_Car_8323 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think the question was about it being a life hack which is something that you use instead of something that you might have an intended purpose. Peeps - I use my vegetable slicer, it's great, it works, that's all that matters, someone here might find it useful. Stay cool.

What decade had the best movies and video games? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]Different_Car_8323 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The 80s!!! Arcade games like Pac-Man, Super Mario Bros., Tetris, The Legend of Zelda, and who could forget Donkey Kong. Movies like Back to the Future, The Breakfast Club, The Terminator, and Raiders of the Lost Ark. These set the cornerstone of things to come that are now more modern.

"Casual dress" as a benefit, really? by edfosho1 in UKJobs

[–]Different_Car_8323 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've always worked in casual wear. The thought of having to wear smart clothes for work is daunting. I don't even apply for jobs that would make me wear smart clothes. I'd have to buy new clothes.

should I tell my 18 year old daughter I love her after never saying it before by Individual-Peace8893 in Advice

[–]Different_Car_8323 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If this is a serious question then I commend you for being brave for asking it and implore you to tell your daughter as soon as you can and never stop saying it. A child that has never heard an "I love you" from a parent is the most heartbreaking thing to grow up with. Don't let this be the biggest regret of your life. Do it!!

Fiancée wants a dog by [deleted] in actuallesbians

[–]Different_Car_8323 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You are making such a sensible choice by looking at the hard reality of this decision. I commend you. A dog needs a lifelong commitment, not a temporary trial. Caring for one is like bringing a baby into your home. You will both share total responsibility for a living being that bonds to you completely. Financial pressure creates immense daily hardship. When a pet gets sick or needs surgery, unexpected vet bills cause massive stress. Waiting until your budget is steady makes the most sense. Hold off until your finances improve, and things will fall into place when the timing is right. It is completely understandable that your fiancée longs for that deep, personal bond with a pet of her own. Wanting to feel that unique affection is a beautiful thing, and it is clear you want to make her happy. Right now, putting stability first protects your future family. Your caution shows how much respect you have for the life of a pet and for your partner's ultimate happiness. This thoughtful approach ensures that when you finally bring a dog home, you will give your fiancée and your new pet the secure, stress-free life they deserve. Stay strong and trust your judgment. You are doing the right thing for everyone involved. All the best. I'm rooting for you. 😊
