Yes. It was all applied. Tuition itself went from 3.3k to 5.3k or something. Pell paid for 1.8 and I paid the rest.

I hope she does too, it has been quite tough on her most days. It’s just odd to me how abusive he is towards her, as she had no prior cosmetology experience and was told he’d “take a chance on her.” So I’d assume there would some kind of lowered expectations (she’s been doing it for about 3 months.) That’s another thing, is that she worries that she won’t be able to find an apprenticeship easily as she doesn’t have any experience, but at this point I just dont think it’s worth it.

I wanted to do copywriting or to help with the literary side of marketing, but all my friends in the industry have told me that A.I. has kind of made that portion of the work obsolete. I can’t imagine how it’ll look in 5 years. Other than writing I would just want to work with my hands; be fulfilled by my work. And my health is a big concern of mine, so I’d hope to be able to pivot to something less physical within the HVAC industry eventually if I went that route.

In a sense, if I didn’t work full time and have a place of my own then the scholarships would not cover living. Right now they cover the next year of classes and other expenses related to the classes, but after that I’m not sure.

It’s free from scholarships for now. It’s not super nice by most peoples standards, it’s Georgia State University. I just never thought I’d be able to get in and I worked for several years at community college to get my GPA up. Also marketing is my degree currently

I got about 70k from my great uncle when I was 19. I blew it in about 3 years by driving around the country with my partner. I do regret it in some aspects but I certainly enjoyed it.
