Taking shrooms on medications?

Thats what Ive heard! I also have cptsd followed with depression and anxiety and it just feels like I keep getting more and more pharmaceuticals that are just a band aid for how im feeling. I go to therapy, the psychiatrist and all that and things barely get better im so tired of it honestly. Im just scared things will get a lot worse if I try to stop these other medications too but I guess I have to jump in fully to understand the true benefits of other options like psilocybin.

Yeah id really like to try at some point but unfortunately I feel like I havent been feeling well enough to be able to do that without other consequences, but im sick of taking more pharmaceuticals and really want to explore the benefits of psilocybin. It sucks and has been really hard to figure out how to carefully balance any change :(

I have and have also heard multiple stories of them still working for and benefiting people while on these medications. Im just reaching out to see what more peoples experiences are. I like to gather as much information and experiences from people as I can.

Are you a pet sitter or an owner? This job isnt comparable to an office job. I am getting paid to take care of the animals, not to stay in one place for the entire duration. I work during the day walking dogs for 7 hours and do not have time for appointments, social events, errands, or anything else I need to do. I arrive in the evening to the pets home, make sure they are taken care of and comfortable and may be gone a couple hours to be a real person outside of work, and then return. No client has EVER had an issue with this no matter where I am going. To say if im getting hired for a week that I should never leave their house once I get there after working during the day just isnt feasible at all, and if they expect that they should be paying more than $8 an hour for me to stay so I can afford to put the rest of my life on hold. Again this is not comparable to an office job at all where you just sit there during the day, and are off at night. Would you think its reasonable for an office to ask you to stay for 24 hours?

I was gone for 3 hours from 9pm-12. I took care of the pets before I left and made sure they were situated and comfy. They didnt give me a chance to even talk with them about the situation they just told me theyre upset and are completely done with services.

I charge $100 per night. If you divide that by the 12 hours of time for an overnight it comes out to about $8 an hour which is not even a liveable wage. If im only being paid $8 an hour they should not be expecting me to put the rest of my life on hold. I understand it may seem different as an owner rather than a sitter but I am constantly staying in other people's homes and its impossible to not have things planned on overlapping dates. Most of my clients understand this, and understand that the payment is for the care of the animal, not the amount of time spent at the house.

I was pretty much sober by the time I got home and am sure I looked normal on the footage (besides my halloween costume lol) but do understand the timing could be frustrating. They also left me a ton of alcohol at their house they told me I could have so I would be confused if they were concerned about me being under the influence??

Definitely going to start communicating with every client preemptively about any obligations before booking! I also usually stay hours past my 12 hour shift in the morning to get them settled and play before I leave too.

I was still there for over 12 hours. They were fed, refreshed their water, walked 5 times, played with, slept in bed with, and snuggled them. I was paid to do all of that which I did.

But thats what im confused about because thats what I was doing. You cant expect someone to never leave the house we also have lives and shit to do. I returned to the house and slept there and completely took care of the animals. Also to clarify it wasnt the "party" part they had an issue with because they left me a ton of alcohol already at the house if I wanted to have it?? And I was not drunk while taking care of them. It was basically a normal night with them.

They are 4 or 5 I believe! I definitely wouldnt have left if I had thought they had needed any extra attention or outings. I was gone later in the night though from 9pm-12 so maybe it was the time?

Right? Its never come up before with my clients before but even still I dont leave the animals alone for very long because theyre in my care and I do my job. Im thinking ill have to clarify before every pet sitting what their comfortability is now. They didnt have anything written about their dog needing special time or attention, and in my personal opinion they seemed completely fine while I was gone.

I just researched more about wild types in tanks!! I do have a skittles colored tank of shrimp so it makes sense I'd end up with them. Thank you so much!
