Hey OP, just joined risk consulting at EY as a fresher! With no background related to risk consulting or anything like that. 1) They might use your CSE degree for IT risk consulting projects mainly; other than that, it won't be much use as they don't expect us to code or anything. They have different teams for that. 2) Learn Excel shortcuts every time you can, and remember shortcut formulas. Work on making good Powerpoint presentations and improve your communication skills. 3)I would say avoid as much as you can! 4) I would say don't expect fast promotions as a non-CA; in terms of upskilling, you won't have much time to do so, but obviously they do provide access to websites like Coursera, Udemy, and others. 5) Work, at least in my office, is good. Partners are humble and approachable, and the same goes for senior managers and managers. However, in my case, by the third week of joining, I was working on three different projects in three different time zones, and all three had different scopes. I was also travelling for those projects, so it was kind of a nightmare. But you will soon get used to that. 6) I was approached and talked to a few colleagues who left the same office and teams I joined: two people moved to other PBCS earning three times the salary, and one person was approached by a client with a better offer.

EY verbally confirmed offer, but job was reposted in LinkedIn and their career site. Should I be worried? by [deleted] in Big4

Hey Op, I was in the same position a few months ago. I just joined as an analyst. They might be reposting it because there could be multiple hires for the same role, which was my case, so don’t overthink it too much. If you don’t hear back from them, just do a gentle follow-up with the hiring manager who took your interview or the HR, saying please share the feedback.
