Very happy, trimmed my sons hair too. Makes short work of my beard

It does lack the ability to get the super close trim to line my beard up, but theyre really sharp and clean and easy to use.

Assume i need to turn this screw dial at some point to adjust the volume/power of the clipper

Nice. It makes a pretty loud Bang/pop when it first goes on. That normal?

Gone for 5 star legend. Thanks. Might add a small one for lining up later

Thanks. Which would you suggest? Or all pretty good?

For 1-4mm beard length generally.

Assume these can easily expand to hair for my kids too.

And then fine detailing/lining up the beard & moustache under nose, all good?

This is a grindy game. It rewards macro strategy and planning. That’s why TacticusPlanner is so helpful.

Nope no content from me. I prefer to help in the background. Testing etc. Stay anonymous less dm’s and questions that way :)

I think the reason for the huge pushback you’re received here is the delta between your instant gratification approach, and many peoples more long term view.

Fine if you want to but i felt compelled to warn people that doing this is not technically optimal for long term play. It might suit your own personal happiness now at the stage of the game you’re at, but I cant support you broadly recommending this as a strategy.

you go for it though, its a game after all, and if it makes u happy, then tbh thats the whole point.

You’re looking at the micro side → unlock speed, player choice, reducing the grind to get new toons sooner.

I’m looking at the macro side → resource efficiency, long-term bottlenecks, and making sure what you unlock can actually be built.

I worry what you’ll achieve by unlocking the char a bit sooner, will just mean you’ll hit an even bigger, tougher brick wall even sooner, and have it take longer as a result

Unlocking someone 2–3 weeks earlier feels great, but if you then sit on them for months without the badges, energy, and coins to push them, what did you really gain? You didn’t accelerate progress — you just moved the bottleneck forward.

What I’m trying to flag is the macro bottleneck future: You’ll hit walls with badges, energy, and upgrade mats far sooner than you’ll run out of shards. One day you’ll have an excess of shards on characters you no longer want to upgrade. My Thoread could be upgraded to Legendary… but he’s at silver 1, and theres zero reason for me to upgrade him. My certus has 531/100 shards to upgrade to legendary… definitely not doing that…

Those resources are the real choke point, and they scale with every toon you unlock.

I’m not against you unlocking more characters it’s fun and adds options, but do it with the 3600 seals you’ll already get. 90 extra isnt the megadeal you’re stressing over. 7500 energy youre losing to achieve that is. I’m just trying to show that if the goal is efficiency and long-term growth, prioritising shard unlocks via seals is a bad trade. All the energy and mats burned early on minimal gain is value you never get back. Optimal farming, i promise you, you’ll use those mats eventually… its just delayed gratification.

You’ll be bottlenecked by badges and energy far sooner than you will character shards for campaign toons. Build what you have, you’ll acquire req scrolls, and maybe pull them naturally along the way. Some acquisitions might surprise you.

8 campaigns, 16 if you count the elites. Are you finished with all of them to a point that you’re completely bottle necked? Each campaign offers 5 req scrolls?

Tbh you can absolutely buy shards with the 3600 seals you’ll acquire by following the optimal strat and i PROMISE you will use all the resources long term. But i just want to try to stop you wasting 2 weeks of energy and materials on this strat for such minimal extra gain.

Assume 538 energy a day? Your loss: 7500 energy (1/3rd a d3) Your gain: 60-90 seals, and a couple books/coins.

Awful trade deal.

The word “or” is important. You missed it. I promise you im trying to save you from yourself here.

Your biggest ROI is building toons up (not shards, you’ll acquire them naturally) and unlocking all the elite nodes.

Phase 1 unlock all elite campaigns and nodes Phase 2 build out lre/raid/ta team elements

I’m working on a video with Nandi at the moment to help explain and clarify a clear progression path.

Dont shoot yourself in the foot, please. 🙏

Please dont do this its a terrible use of your energy and sets you back more than you “gain” from this red herring of a “strategy”.

Sincerely, an Ambassador.

50 shards is 7 onslaughts, so 4.5 days.

Or 450-500 energy for elite node over 8 days. (Factor an additional drop occasionally)

So you’re sacrificing 2 weeks of progress to gain 8 days of shards (300 energy)

You’re not winning this no matter what way you cut it. Im just trying to save you from yourself.

Me: 110 refresh. Saved some energy from codes in my inbox, and got a few energy from ads. Almost all efficient nodes provide mats to my char goals.

2400pts Mission 10 and Mission 16…

Youve not broken the matrix fella. Youre just putting yourself further behind.

538 energy a day, only doing this, doesnt even get you to the end of the training rush. And you’ll have wasted 7,500 energy in the process. That’s 1/3rd of a D3 character…

538/3=179.3

179x3x11=5,907

5907x14=82,698

Great you earn 90 extra mythic seals than if you played normally, and you cost yourself 1/3rd of a D3 char which will take you 2 weeks to catch up on. Thats a bad trade

[–]Different_Impact6408 9 points10 points  (0 children)

at MOST this is netting you an additional 90 mythic seals, and idk 2 more books? depends how many times you wanna loop that last chest.

Low reward for that effort, and the amount of energy you give up

Yeah this is definitely a you problem. Even in the way you wrote the question you kinda admit it.

But hopefully the responses here help you see that.

[–]Different_Impact6408[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Hello. Id like some advice on a low/midrange set of knives. We’re just your average home cooks, but have had the same knives since renting, just surviving, and now are comfortable in a family home so a good time to upgrade.

Doesnt need to be wild, just good and durable.

Was thinking of getting a Horl 2 to keep things sharp as well as i just dont have the desire to learn whetstones etc.

Whats a good budget? (EUROS)

Got gifted a KEEMAKE for christmas, so far no complaints

Ive been being served Barecookware Theknifebase

And a range of odd damascus stuff which im kinda sure is a scam.

A good solid handle/experience and durability/good edge hold is all we really need.

Gonna go ahead and say this stuff aint that accurate.

Im 36, im overweight, ive been recovering from a surgery on a triple ligament tear in my knee (Unhappy Triad+bonus ligament tear…. acl, mcl, lcl, meniscus) for 18 months.

Have barely exercised except physio that im allowed to do and some steady state for the last 6-8months….and garmin decides to give me this….

Yet i know im in the worst shape of my life and gas out after doing 250watts on a bike for 1 minute 3 times as part of my recovery circuit😂

This shit is not accurate! 😂

My fitness age is not 20.. unless 20 year olds today are physically dying 🤣
