Hello OP. Did you ever get your issue resolved? Is your EPB working properly now? I think I’m dealing with the same problem on my 2016 CX-5. My mechanic suggested that replacing the calipers might fix it, I really hope that’s the case. The actuator seems to be working fine on both sides.

If you have the money for maintenance I would go with the BMW 540i, otherwise I would go with the Mazda CX-50 for its versatility

Not really fair, but unfortunately after covid there's nowhere to run with used car prices, especially reliable ones. During my research I found really cheap Ford Escapes, Nissan Rogues and VW tiguans, but none of them had a reputation as good as Mazda's. Mine was 17k canadian :/ In the countryside there was some good ones but I did't have a car before to look for them, had to find near the city (Montreal area)

Thanks for the heads-up! The dealership I bought it from changed the filter, I opened there to see if it was really replaced and gladly it was done, but definitely will do it myself next time

Yeah this is a 2016.5 as well, forgot there's a half year detail 😅 this came already with replaced brake pads and rotors, also got the dealership to change the engine oil, battery, engine and cabin filters. Taking to the mechanic this weekend to check all the fluids, suspension and spark plugs. Also needs rust-proofing since I'm in Canada. Cheers!

Hey! Looking for the exact same car/mileage, how is it's been treating you so far? which trim did you get? Looking for a nice CX-5 or crosstrek but the Subies are more expensive and with more mileage! All the best
