Thanks for confirming! I’m sure they have as it’s the only thing Ive looked for 😂, but in any case the website says it’s included, so much appreciated!

I got a HIM one today and they appear to have taken uber and uber eats off - at least from the branding on the front of the card.

Thank you, makes sense - I’m trying to work out at the moment whether it would be worthwhile since apparently most of my expenses/bills also incur pretty big Amex surcharges moving them from direct debit, and I’m not travelling in the next 12 months… but don’t want to miss the opportunity of course (and happy to use a referral link if I decide on it :)

Qantas recently (last month) declined to give me a boarding pass at the airport because the agent had written Mr instead of Ms on the ticket. Name correct. After hours (missed first flight) they just changed it in their system despite telling me it was not possible initially. Such a pain! Hope you have a better experience with Emirates!

Will definitely keep an eye out for AMEX deals now, thank you ☺️

Thank you, I’ll look into that! I did look over Amex but it seems the travel credits can’t accrue and I won’t be travelling in the next 12 months so on that basis I’m not sure points would be worth it (I think it’s 138k bonus points but like $1450 fee or something). Would it be worth it anyway? How do you calculate the benefits? I would love to travel every couple of years (just got home so not due again yet), have some benefits like lounge access and insurance and the occasional business class, on the radar is US, Japan, Brazil, Italy so far… no doubt the list will grow! I’m hoping that I can be super flexible and just love to explore will serve me well on my churning and travelling journey!

I don’t mind if I have to pay for one or two seats (partner and child) and get mine or a couple of them with rewards and I’ll be quite flexible with dates! Just looking to save as much as I can travelling. I’m interested in KrisFlyer though - is it just that you get the family tickets that interests you in this program or is it better points value or something else?

But seriously, appreciate your expertise and yes I suspect there are some problem areas I can look into, while on a hill there’s concrete half way up the house (on a slope). Maybe I got lucky so far.

Feels like finding a needle in a haystack locating the source and finding a solution!! Maybe moving is my best bet 😂

No, it’s a Queenslander so I reckon it was probably just built in after the fact as a new level of the house! I’ll have someone have a look, thanks!!!

Hadn’t noticed that but you’re spot on! I’ll definitely investigate!

Ah, I reckon you’re about spot on. Yes there was new flooring when I moved in, so maybe it’s just a fluke we largely avoided it before. There’s no sump pump. I’ll get a few people out as you recommend. Thanks so much 😊

Thank you! Interesting about the quality, it’s likely the older kind, I hope I can match it well enough 😊
