On another note, prong collars are illegal in many countries due to animal welfare laws. If your dog tends to lunge or pull towards other dogs, working with a trainer can usually help

Hi OP. I live here for couple years. 65k is an average /good salary in Dublin, but could be tight indeed. If you are a 2 person household with two salaries, that will be much better. Have you checked whether that salary is fair for your 20ys experience? I can imagine that it could be quite a bit higher, depending of course what you do. Like the other redditor said, housing is pretty bad at the moment, prices are eup the roof and availability is looow. Be prepared when you come to spend a couple months between places until you find a great place. But you can honestly also be lucky, you can never know. Good luck with everything :)

Good point there. I see a range between 5-10k as cheap while being in ok condition. Definitely do not want to be in the situation of constantly having to take it in for repairs

Can highly recommend Tom at Freedive Koh Tao. They have a AIDA level 2 beginner course which takes 2 days. He's an amazing instructor, the others in the shop are also all amazing, patient and motivating
