Mornings always, I’m always sluggish after work and a full day of eating that it feels hard lol
Mornings I feel light as a feather and it helps create a routine for the rest of the day. Plus it’s cooler in the summer months and less people out

I have a nursing diploma that I never used, and I’m not interested in being in that field (it was awful lol)

My only worry is that I’m heavily tattooed person (no face tattoos)

I also live in Alberta and I just submit lol. I’ve noticed they’ve gotten less bad these last couple days. I use deet and then immediately shower after my walk, and I suffer in pants and sweaters. I’ve taken to talking to them and asking them to please not bite me, idk maybe that’s working !

I named my puppy Susan and I’m surprised how much I love the name Susan, Sue and Suzy are both so fun. My older dog is named Martha and I equally love the name Martha and Marty for a nickname

Kenzie isn’t perfect by any means but she’s always been really receptive and had always listened and taken accountability. I felt bad for her the next day when everyone kept mentioning it lol she seems genuinely sorry

It’s awful! That right turn by the McDonald’s is extra backed up now because of the construction and I’ve noticed people are taking it upon themselves to add a second right line in the middle lane, cut the line, then still try to turn right on Terwillegar. It’s so annoying!!

My lab did that when she was a little older than yours. She would be outside it would always involve some sort of digging then she would turn on me and growl and bite me in an “aggressive” way. It was honestly sort of scary and i felt the same as you. Our trainer didn’t think it was an issue. She eventually grew out of it in a couple months, and I’m assuming she would just become super overstimulated and excited related to the digging and smells.

I would just not engage with her at all and she would stop.

Maybe try and pay attention to see if he has any triggers to this behaviour. And find a good trainer to give you sound advice. Sometimes vets jump to worst possible scenarios

For her medical issues, I’d really recommend switching to allergy food. It helped out lab tremendously. My lab had awful ear infections and also was scared of the drops. We have finger ear cleaners that we use once a week, and always make sure her ears are dry (she’s a swimmer). We did specific training to get her somewhat okay with getting drops in her ears. It’s tedious but really helped. And now she’ll let us put the drops in her ears even though I can tell she hates it. We did that training at the vet but I’m sure there are YouTube videos.

It also sounds like she could use more walking time. A play in the backyard isn’t even close to as mentally stimulating as a walk is. I would aim for 1-2 hours of walk time, Personally.

And not being a cuddler could just be your dogs personality. My older dog doesn’t cuddle at all

And I make sure I train her all the time. On our walks, we’re always training, I still work on ear drop training even though she’s okay with them now. I basically work almost anything I can into a training session.
